Paije Lopez Named One of the 2025 Baton Rouge Volunteer Activists

The ATA Lopez Foundation is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Paije Lopez has been selected as one of the 2025 Baton Rouge Volunteer Activists, an annual honor recognizing outstanding community leaders who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to service and advocacy in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Paije was chosen for her work advancing support, resources, and policy-level change for families of children with neurodiversities and complex medical needs. Through The ATA Lopez Foundation, she has helped fill critical gaps in education, care navigation, and family advocacy throughout Louisiana.

Beyond her role as founder, Paije serves in multiple statewide and regional leadership positions, including:
Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA)
Louisiana Council’s Advocacy Network (LaCAN)
President of the Regional Advisory Council (RAC) for state systems of care

In these positions, she works to improve access, equity, and quality of services for children and families, ensuring that lived experience and family voice are represented in state-level decision making.

“I am extremely grateful to be recognized among such inspiring local leaders,” Lopez said. “Advocacy is not something any of us do alone, and this honor reflects the strength and courage of the families we stand with every day. I look forward to celebrating on November 7th and continuing this work throughout our region and our state.”

The Volunteer Activists celebration will take place on November 7, 2025, honoring this year’s selected leaders and supporting continued community impact across the Baton Rouge region.
